Alameda Health System Foundation invited guests to join us at Soul of Spring, an inspirational evening held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, returning to The Bridge Yard, a gateway to Oakland history with sweeping waterfront views.

The evening was full of delicious savory and sweet treats, signature cocktails, and late-night bites in a striking indoor and outdoor setting under the stars.

Patrice Rushen An award-winning musician, composer, and four-time Grammy nominee, Patrice Rushen’s “Forget Me Nots” was a Billboard Top 30 Pop and Top 5 R&B smash hit. One of the world’s top jazz pianists, Rushen is a record producer, a musical director for the Grammys, Emmys, People’s Choice, and NAACP Image Awards, and Chair of the Popular Music Program at USC’s Thornton School of Music.
