Alameda Health System Foundation is seeking a motivated and organized Development Specialist to join its growing team of fundraising professionals dedicated to Investing in Caring, Healing, Teaching, and Serving All . Serving Alameda Health System (AHS), Alameda County’s patient and family-centered safety net health care system, the Foundation is committed to the value statement that health care is a right and not a privilege.
The Development Specialist provides a variety of executive administrative support and donor/funder relations services and is shared equally between the two directors. These include serving as administrative assistant to the Director of Leadership & Planned Giving and performing activities related to major gift and planned giving programs or campaigns. The position also supports the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations including performing activities related to formatting, assembling, submission, and tracking of grant proposals and reports; maintaining documentation and funder files; coordinating site visits and other funder meetings; and related activities.
